“During my time in Costa Rica my body, heart, and soul celebrated the embodied feeling of rediscovering how to love myself again. Erika was a wonderful guide sharing her gifts in movement, healing, connection, local attractions, and how to surf the ocean waves. This retreat for me was a perfect blend of learning, developing new friendships, and deepening friendships that previously existed. In between structured time with Erika I was able to explore the beauty of Nosara culture and community. “Nosara was the perfect place to detach and connect with myself, others around me and the culture of Costa Rica. I went into the retreat not really knowing what to expect and came out with a whole new appreciation for my yoga practice, being present in the moment and stepping outside of my comfort zone. I made me realize how grateful I am to be able to see new places and slow down to soak in this beautiful life.

The Nomadic Hotel was the most gorgeous place to stay, tucked away in the jungle, it completely immersed you in the Costa Rican culture. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast and endless amounts of fresh coffee everyday was to die for. It was the perfect walking location to the beach and town.

Erika lead each day with grace, passion and gratitude. She showed up for us so we could show up for ourselves. The morning and afternoon practices were just what my body and soul needed. We connected deeper with our bodies, souls and our minds.

The days were very well spent between yoga, mediation, journaling, catching my first waves, watching the sun rises and sun sets and being surrounded by some really incredible people! It was the perfect balance for all the activities!

The dinners created by the private chef were absolutely incredible. I ate the best foods and meals on this trip that I think I ever had! I was excited to experience the Blue Zone diet before the trip and it exceeded my expectations beyond belief!

The retreat was a dream and I’m already itching to go back!!
